Tim’s music is a mix of folk, pop, soft rock, jazz and classical, all mixed together in his own distinctive style.

He began playing classical guitar in middle school, moved into pop, soft rock and singer-songwriter music in late high school and through college, and picked up jazz elements in his 40’s. He was writing music almost from the very start. Along the way some harder rock, blues and country found their way in. All that history can be found in his own songs, and in his covers (which run from the 60’s to the present day, all with his own arrangements). He uses both finger and flat picking. 

He ensures that he does not know another experience to compare to creating a new song or piece of music.
