Why do we need volunteers?
Organizing and running performances at the barn takes quite a lot of work. There are many moving parts. We could use your help to provide the best experiences possible for the audience and performers.
What do we need volunteers to do?
Volunteers can help in many ways.
- Assisting on concert days to set up, clean, take tickets, answer questions, or serve refreshments.
- Handing out concert information and asking for audience contact information.
- Helping in other ways related to hands-on projects, office and computer based projects and general outreach.
- We welcome your ideas, unique talents, and know-how.
The old adage “many hands make light work” has proven to be the case here at Surry Arts. We think of ourselves as a community resource with a unique opportunity to enrich the area with fine performances.
