Surry Arts and Events at the Barn

The Barn has operated as a beloved community resource since 1965 when Walter Nowick, a gifted, Julliard-trained pianist and conductor, began giving concerts here in Surry with young Japanese professionals and students. We strive to honor his legacy each year with performances that inspire and spark joy.
