Maine Middle Eastern Ensemble performs folk, classical and Sufi music from the Turkish, Arabic, Armenian and Greek traditions. Led by multi-instrumentalist, Eric LaPerna, the group also features violinist, Michael Gallant; guitarist, Jeremey Zela; percussionists, Doug Andrews and Dorothy Barker, as well as other musicians from Maine’s vibrant Middle Eastern music community.
