Swingmatism plays Jazz from Swing to Bop and Beyond. Modernizing Swing, especially influenced by the sounds of Count Basie’s Band Tenor Giant Lester “Pres.” Young; also the Forefather of “Cool” Jazz. Mainstream Modern Jazz, aka the Bebop of Charlie Parker and Dizzy GIllespie. Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova. Post Bop, especially the Modal approach pioneered by John Coltrane and Miles Davis.
