Elena Ciampa she/her/hers
Award-winning multi-genre musician, vocalist, composer, songwriter, arranger, bandleader, Elena Ciampa is a lifelong musician and vocalist who began performing on piano and voice at an early age in church, schools and public events. The second of seven children of musical parents, she was exposed to numerous and diverse genres by her mother and father, her local
community, television and FM radio programming of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Elena and her six siblings would often sing what needed to be said, for obvious reasons! After working as a high school Spanish teacher for twenty years, in 2016 Elena finally went back to school for music. She is now performing, recording and producing her original pieces, and is poised to begin the Master of Music in Composition at The Hartt School (West Hartford,
Connecticut) in September, 2023. Listeners can expect thoughtful writing and melodic expression from Elena’s songs, compositions and arrangements.
